I'm using Windows 7 and I have moved the MicroTonic scripts to the installed folder and nothing seems to change.Ĭurrently C:Program Files-VSTPlugIns-SonicCharge-MicroTonic Scripts any reason behind why it's not working? Please advise. How can i manage to make this work so I can route the preset patterns individually? Please advise I'm currently using Cubase 6.5 (32bit)It seems like the patches only work when its on single mode with output A/B mode and it only hits the first kick sound when it's in multimode.
I've just got into using Micro Tonic, and was in search for a thread regarding multimode.And couldn't find the antidote! presets available for royalty free use in Microtonic Patternarium. It's criminal that it should take so little given the power of the sound itself. Oh and let me also hugely second the STUPID low cpu usage of this thing. To have amazing presets like that means I can just put my hands on the keyboard and start playing and get my idea out before it flies off into creative outer space, that's tremendous! Once again it fit the song perfectly and kept me inspired while writing parts on top of it and that is huge to me. No sequencing in the DAW environment outside of volume automation. Meaning, it's basically just a slightly edited preset (which speaks to the quality of the presets!!) and the entire song is sequenced from the pattern blocks in MT itself. This time I used it in a sort of "my own personal robot drummer" role. Here's another new one, 100% MT on the drums. Ok first off a big huge massive overwhelming thank you to Magnus and Erik!! Nobody really listens to my music and so to even give it the time of day, and much less a compliment coming from the creator of two of my all time favorite instruments (maelstrom + microtonic) is just insane!! Thank you guys again 1000x!!

Great software guys! Sonic Charge has always been top notch in my book! :) Hopefully these little tips will help others too. This can really make a big difference, at least to me. Play around with mid/side in the midrange. On the highs use the "side" info and boost to taste. You can either use these constantly generating loops in your own songs, or modify them until they work perfectly. But, not only do you get the patterns, you get the sound too As Patternarium is a constantly evolving drum loop/sound library, you reap the benefits with Microtonic. Boost only "mid" information eq on the low end, rolloff all "side" low end. Also, you can directly copy Patternarium patterns in to Microtonic. It really seems to put everything where it needs to be. I think one of the keys to getting microtonic to cut through a mix is mid/side eq. I'm very glad that you liked the sound of the uTonic track. Oh yeah, I used their StereoPack as well on the uTonic track :) Lock Tab Adding to the PO-32's guerrilla mentality is a breakaway lock tab, which allows you to permanently protect all written patterns, restoring all tweaked parameters to locked settings any time you remove the unit's batteries.

I compressed the Mid channel of the microtonic, then went into a vintage warmer by PSP Audioware, and the EQ was Aether. Hmm, well I know that I used "OldTimer ME" compressor by PSP Audio (get it now it's $79 till end of the month) which allows compression of Mid or Side aspects of the stereo field. What is it? Just good eq'ing, compression & reverb? I like the "body" you have given to µTonic here.
